The concept for Oceanblue Studios came about some 15 years ago.

Joe Calabrese, a New Jersey based multi-instrumentalist who played in a number of top forty and original bands throughout a twenty year musical career tells this story:

“It all started when one of the original bands I played in decided to record a demo. We went into the studio excited and well rehearsed after months of preparation only to leave disappointed and feeling ripped-off. The engineer although well known and technically proficient, altered the sound and dynamics of the band so much that it didn't even sound like us anymore. I knew at that point that there was a real need for a studio that was owned and operated by musicians for musicians."

Oceanblue Studio offers a relaxed, no-pressure recording environment that up until now, musicians only dreamed of. A place where the vision and integrity of what your music means to you will not be compromised.
